Title: size of lathe & mill needed
Post by: on March 07, 2010, 06:00:11 PM
I have a smithy 1220LTD 3 in 1 machine, and am concerned that the lathe is not large enough and that the mill part,  also not large enough or most likely not capable of maintaining close enough tolerances to built one of the rg-g or d&e guns.    Any input would be appreciated.   Larry

I made my entire first Rgg on bench top equipment except laying out any bolt circles or barrel circles. My rotary table will not fit on my small mill.
