WELCOME !!!!  I am also new to maching (5 years a hobby) and have been working on a gatling gun. Wish I had more experiance before starting the gun . Everyone is very helpful here though.

I\'m new here, but I want to get a feel for the forum before I show my ignorance or step on my crank.
As an old time machine shop worker, now retired seventeen years, I have a small shop in my basement where I do a little gunsmithing.
Built many AR\'s and such. But building an AR is nothing at all like building a Gatlin gun. I\'m not too sure I still have the skills and patience to go that route. So, I came here to look and learn.
I learned early in life that if you ask and are sincere, someone will tell you the answer.
I mean is it better to sit on the front porch in NC and watch the cars go by or to come here and be with a great group of guys that are up to a challenge.
I\'m looking, but need some time to decide what to do. ;)
I\'ll be lurking in the shadows.
