Nightwatchman just scared the hell out of me and welding sounds to risky now. Shred\'s idea looks good now. I could fill the other 2 in with JB weld and just use a permanent marker on the tiny area. I would be happy with that. Thanks for all of the suggestions and input from everybody here. This is a great forum to be a part of.

bruski i did the same thing 25 years ago with my 110 savage in 222, punched it out to 223 for all that cheap surplus ammo, easy 400 yd shots, and verry easy conv.   Jim

I have been nailing targets at over 200 yards with this gun, no problem. It is a little on the heavy side though for me any way.
