12 or 24 inch barrels
« on: January 21, 2015, 05:34:26 PM »
I found 24 inch long ss 22 barrels online for 29.95 each. Or 25 each for 10. Should I get 5 and cut n half or 10 and build it long? .920 OD.

Longer looks better, but..... I think 18 would look more \"correct\" to the gun. Just my 2 cents...

10ea .920s will not fit the 2.00 BC on the RG-G plans

I can turn them down. Seems better than using liners and cheap and stainless

How hard would it be to increase the whole thing to accomadate.920 barrels? I understand the bolt carrier would be bigger as well as the body and cams but the bolts could still be the same.

That sounds like a much better plan to me.

Good luck

Another possibility, for anyone.

I have a guy giving up on his build, he has

10 take-off barrels finished diameter and length.

Not chambered for 30 buck each.
