Website must have a glitch in it as most of my post above has been deleted. :-\

Anyways, I purchased some rg-g drawings second hand and I am believing that they may be the outdated version.  How do I tell what version I have?  How outdated are the outdated ones?  Are they usable at all?

I also think I may be missing some drawings/sheets.  Can anyone confirm what drawings I should have?

I have

48-00 sheets 1, 2, and 3
48-01 through 48-28
5100 sheets 2, 3, and 4

I don

What is up with the forum format.  I write something in the post, hit preview and all looks good.  Hit post and a bunch of text is missing.

My guess is that it's an older set. I purchased my plans and spoke with Paul Moore a little over a year ago. I was not sent  5100 series prints. I received 48-01  to 48-30, size 11 x 17. Also received 48-00 series sheets 2 and 3, size 22 x 34 they are just nice to have, Paul Moore said if you get aggravated you can throw darts at them! Also 5200 series sheets 1-5, and the 5300 series sheets 1-3. The 48-29 and 48-30 sheets are for the base plate, and stick magazine. Also received a thick packet of parts description, materials list, and basic guidance. Hope this helps.

Thank you for that.  I got a few more drawings from someone, I will check what I now currently have vs what you have posted above.

I am missing everything that was in the thick packet.

Worth mentioning that the plans are just a guide for many builders.   Info here on the forum shows better ways of making many parts, errors in the drawings, great tips, modifications and more.   For example, most do not make their bolts the way the drawing details,  there are far better ways.    Wedge mounting rather than threading the barrels is another great improvement.    You could say that the forum has taken the plans and refined them into a much superior product.

Trying to say above, is sheet 48-28 in the updated drawings?  I have it in the outdated set and may possibly been changed to one of the 5200 drawings.  I think this sheet was for the yoke.

I was also wondering if anyone had the instruction/material list packet which is possibly called the DESC or reference sheets scanned and would be able to send me?  It would be much appreciated.

No, I don't have sheet 48-28 either. I'm not that far along, so I never noticed. Also I have no clue how to scan with a computer. Flip phone guy here!
