I have been working on this since July of 08 and finally got it finished this past month.
Have not got out to shoot it yet altho it seems to function fine. I build everything but the wood wheel, I had the person listed on the plans make them for me. The wheels are white oak and the carriage is black walnut.

Very nice Rolland, are you going to polish the brass or leave it?

Superb! Something like this is a bit beyond what I think I can do right now, but it's very encouraging to see what's possible. Oh, and to Dave and everyone else, great new forum!

Great looking job Rolland. After +500 hours(I'm almost done) I always can use a little more motivation by seeing beautiful finished guns like yours.

That's a nice one Rolland. I'm guessing a .22?

What's that hanging under the axle?
Trail spike?

Gasgunner
Yes that is a trail spike I made to add something different to the gun. I had some extra wood and brass left over.

Cutter
I have run blanks through the gun to check the functioning but no live ammo as of yet weather and some health problems have slowed things.

A very late post that also bumps this to the top. This way other folks can also see this very nice Gatling gun.
NICE JOB!! Way to go. Also hope that all is well.
