Are you using Gearotic for the clock gears?

No George, the gear software is fairly new. I started my first clock last century. ( 1989 )
To use specific diameters it's necessary to create tooth geometry
matching both diameters. ( no standard pitch )

No magic here, the design is 400 years old first put on paper with ink and feather.
Those are my heroes.

Dave,

Made from scratch from an old design. large gears are 6" diameter

with a 15" face

The new gears are 3"

Nice work, are you a member of the Home Model Machinist also ?  Any models or plans for the clocks ?

 

  I was wanting to post a video of a beam engine I made but don't know how to post it.
