Has anyone come up with a cleaner look for the bolt extractor
Opening ?

Jeff,
From your picture it looks like you have integrated the elevating ball socket into a part that is tied into the side rails. That's a nice clean look. Is that part soldered to the breech casing or just bolted to the side rails? Thanks.

Bob,

Here is another view of the ball socket. It is only bolted to the side rails. I did not solder any thing, not even the side rails. Everything is bolted/screwed together works great.

Jeff,
Thanks for the picture, I will add that part to my todo list. I made the holes in the breech and rails 3/8" so that will cover them. I haven't soldered anything yet so maybe I won't now. Thanks again.
