I retired in 2006, but still work on some projects
for two engineers rebuilding turbo machinery.
Here's my last one.

Cutter,
Now that's amazing workmanship on those compressor wheels. I wish that I knew you about 5 or 6 years ago when I put many hours into building a small turbojet engine that I finally had success with putting out 14 pounds of thrust at 130,000 rpm. This was of course with an off the shelf compressor wheel from a turbo charger.

This is a 12 inch wheel.
We only go 30,000 rpm's with it.

This is a 20 inch wheel with 160 buckets for a steam turbine.
It starts out a 300 pound forged billet of A286 stainless.
Approximately 320 carbide end mills needed for cutting the buckets.
