The cartridges is loaded as per Accles patent specification in opening ( f ) very easy.
I'm going to build one for the six barrel Rat Gat, but I think a 10 barrel version would be smother operating.

Thanks for the videos. They really make understanding of the operation very clear. Great craftsmanship as always.

I received the material for the Rat Bolts Friday.
Starting with 1-1/4 diameter for the follower.
The body will be .875 diameter.

Bolts cut to length ( 5.175 ) and fit in the carrier.

If a picture is worth a 1000 words, what's a 3D picture worth ?

Back in the beginning of this thread, you were going to use 10-22 stock bolts. I am assuming you changed your mind?

Sparky,
You are correct, that was March 2012.
I just wasn't able to put that together with a legal trigger system.
I'll be using the RG-G method
Still using stock extractors, firing pins, and related hardware.
Also 6 barrels instead of 5.

I finished the bolts this week, fit with stock Ruger
firing pins and springs, extractors with springs and plungers.

Next, a month of honey-do's

Are the gear teeth to drive the Accles drum? I have been hoping to see what you have come up with since you posted the videos of the prototype.
