The first operation drilling .101 diameter to a depth of 1.150 from the drill point.

The second operation with the fixture at 5 degrees using a .109 center cutting end mill just deep enough to
make a flat bottom on the intersecting .101 hole, then drill thru with a .109 drill.

Last operation cut the slot with a 1/16 key cutter

Its all very nice, this design looks the best so far. How long did it take to draw that up and make the dfx file?

Dave,
This work's as good as my other ones, but
75 % less time to make and assemble.
I was on the computer about a day and a half with the drawing.
The first aluminum prototype about 5 hours, recycled that one.
The second aluminum prototype about 2 hours, kept that one.
Next I cut 6 extractors and bolts for a final trial, all are good.
I have cut and assembled 46 more after that, no problem.
The idea came from Ruger's 10 22 and Browning's 22 LR pistol

I did it this way about 10 years ago. I copyed it from my Browning Buckmark pistol. Works great.

This is how I made my extractors. All of the cutting was done with a .062 carbide cutter I made.
